About Us

The Dora Creek and surrounding communities have enjoyed a long history of almost uninterrupted medical service since the mid 1880’s. The only interruption occurred during the Second World War when there was no Doctor available for a short period of time. The practice was originally located in Gradwells Road, Dora Creek.

After the war Dr Slavotnic opened a practice in Dora Street Dora Creek and following Dr Slavotnic’s death, the late

Dr Kelvin Earles and his wife Dr Jennifer Dobson built up the practice and relocated to larger rooms at

Following Dr Earles death in 1977, the practice was purchased by Dr Warren Shean and Dr Richard Drew and over the years it grew to include four locations being Dora Creek, Mannering Park, Morisset and Cooranbong.

In 2011 the practice was purchased by Dr Vinh Dao. Dr Shean and Dr Drew continued on as GP’s and currently still remain as integral members of the Southlakes Medical Group team.
